Map of the region surrounding Lake Lanao in Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur provinces on Mindanao Island (Philippines); identifies settlements, rivers and lakes. Most placenames preceded by numbers (indicating population?). Forms part of Antonio Martel de Gayangos' undated manuscript La Ysla de Mindanao (Ayer MS 1371), an official report critical of Spanish colonial administration. Although tentatively dated ca. 1850 and ca. 1862 by various authorities, the text describes events which occurred as late as 1874.
